Bach Ma national park . Bach Ma national park . According to the surveys on biodiversity, it is recorded that there are 1.715 species in Bach Ma NP (7% of the total number of species in the country). The fauna is very diverse of many endemic, rare, precious species and the details are as follows: Insects has 17 branches, 137 families and 1029 species. Fish has 6 branches, 17 families and 57 species. Reptile-Amphibian has 3 branches, 19 families and 134 species. Bird has 16 branches, 57 families, 363 species. Mammal has 10 branches, 28 families, 132 species.
08:00 . Our driver pick up at hotel ride to Bach Ma . It takes 1.5 hours drive from Hue to Bach ma National Park reception where you can see photos before transfer to the summit . It was great overview from the mountain. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a 3-hour trek with our guide along trails through sub-tropical forest take us to the magnificent Ngu Ho Lake and Do Quyen waterfall. The Ngu Ho or Five-lakes Cascade is a series of small waterfalls which crash down into pristine pools of clear water secluded under a canopy of foliage. Here we swam and enjoyed a great picnic lunch, have tea and coffee in the forest. It was a good feeling. We relax and then trek ends at the small orchid collection house then trek down for a drive back to Hue.
